Chris Candy is a Canadian born actor and musician living in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of veteran comedic actor John Candy. Chris is currently studying under esteemed acting coach Bill Howey, as well as strengthening his improv skills at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater. Last fall Chris wrapped his debut leading role in the Matthew Jacobs directed independent feature Bar America. The entire film was improvised and serves as a wonderful showcase of Candy’s improv abilities & theatrical instincts. The producers plan to submit the film to major festivals later this year. Chris received his BA in Recording Arts from Loyola Marymount University. He is the lead singer of the Punk Rock outfit Chotto Ghetto, as well as host of the radio show Neuz Pollution on KXLU 88.9FM in Los Angeles. Finding the time to create his own content , Chris has also written and acted in the web series Art with Edward, a satire on the elegant world of art and art critique. A new season of Art With Edward will be released this fall.
